КОГНІТИВНА МОДЕЛЬ «HUMAN PERSON»

В статті визначено когнітивну модель «ОСОБИСТІСТЬ» через зв’язки з культурними концептами ДУХОВНИЙ,  ДОСКОНАЛІСТЬ, ВІРА, ЛЮБОВ, ЗАПОВІДІ, БЛАЖЕНСТВО, ПОКАЯННЯ, ПІСТ, СПОГЛЯДАННЯ, СМИРЕННОМУДРЕНІСТЬ. Досліджено процеси інтеграції та інтерпретації у створенні моделі.

Ключові слова: когнітивна модель, «HUMAN PERSON», культурні концепти, інтеграція, інтерпретація.

В статье определено когнитивную модель «ЛИЧНОСТЬ» через связи с культурными концептами ДУХОВНЫЙ,  СОВЕРШЕНСТВО, ВЕРА, ЛЮБОВЬ, ЗАПОВЕДИ, БЛАЖЕНСТВО, ПОКАЯНИЕ, ПОСТ, СОЗЕРЦАНИЕ, СМИРЕННОМУДРЕННОСТЬ. Исследованы процессы интеграции и интерпретации в создании модели.

Ключевые слова: когнитивная модель, «ЛИЧНОСТЬ», культурные концепты, интеграция, интерпретация.

The cognitive model of «HUMAN PERSON» is defined through the connection with  the following cultural concepts: SPIRITUAL,  PEERFECTION, FAITH, LOVE, COMMANDMENTS, BLISS, VIRTUE, CONFESSION, LENT, CONTEMPLATION, HUMBLENESS in this article. Integration and interpretation processes are investigated in it.

Пропонована стаття є продовженням вивчення концепту «ОСОБИСТІСТЬ» в мовній картині світу. Зазначимо, що розвиток когнітивної лінгвістики базується на підвищенні інтересу до «самоорганізації мовної системи», в якій «мова – діахронічне перетворення», і семантичні одиниці «характеризуються здатністю до переконтекстуалізації» (David Rail). Вміння розуміти лексичні одиниці в текстах, висловах, як вони змінюють світ підкреслює важливість проблеми когнітивної моделі «HUMAN PERSON», що включає ідею, в якій концепт і семантичні одиниці (а саме, вторинні номінації) ведуть знання до логічної єдності, до самовизначення, самоідентифікації, їх реалізації.

Мовознавці досліджують природу взаємодії людини із зовнішнім світом і будують теорію концептуальної структури, яка розкриває шляхи дослідження цього світу (Левицький А., Маслова В., Попова З., Стернін Й., Damljanovic D., Evans V., Gardenfors P., Geeraerts D. Radu J. Bogdan та ін.). «Центральною проблемою когнітивної лінгвістики є побудова моделі мовної комунікації як основи обміну знаннями» [3, с. 12].

Ми не просто описуємо концепти і категорії засобами визначення, а беремо до уваги ті знання, які хочемо донести до читача, досягнути певного рівня знань.

Когнітивна лінгвістика розглядає мову як «первинно семантичну» [10] і спрямовує увагу на значення. «Значення – не тільки об’єктивне відображення зовнішнього світу, це спосіб формування цього світу». «Лінгвістичне значення – динамічне, … воно змінює світ, … .» [10].

Ми інтегруємо у світ відповідно до нашої когнітивної компетенції, тобто відбувається процес концептуалізації – «культурне і психологічне дослідження реальності» [10].

«Щоб вирішити питання, концепти повинні бути про світ» [11]. Їх значення полягає не тільки в тому, щоб побачити, що пропонує світ, але й «як можна пристосуватися» [11].

Дана когнітивна модель включає концепт «HUMAN PERSON», що складається із:

а) Ядра: «HUMAN PERSON» – Selfcognition Самопізнання; Selfdefinition Самовизначення.

б)  Периферії: а) фізична складова: being, body, creature, character, human, identity, individual,  individuality, life, man, mortal, personage, personality, self, somebody, woman; б) духовна: soul, spirit; в) культурна (зв’язки з культурними концептами) – SPIRITUAL духовний,  PEERFECTION досконалість, FAITH віра, LOVE Любов, COMMANDMENTS Заповіді, BLISS блаженства, VIRTUE блаженства, CONFESSION покаяння, LENT Піст, CONTEMPLATION  споглядання, HUMBLENESS смиренномудреність.

Лексично-концептуальний відбір включає вислови відомих мислителів.

SPIRITUAL Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life (Buddha). If we are to go forward, we must go back and rediscover those precious values – that all reality hinges on moral foundations and that all reality has spiritual control (Martin Luther King, Jr.). Spiritual relationship is far more precious than physical. Physical relationship divorced from spiritual is body without soul (Mahatma Gandhi). Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude (Denis Waitley). We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin). Hope is some extraordinary spiritual grace that God gives us to control our fears, not to oust them (Vincent McNabb). When people get married because they think it’s a long-time love affair, they’ll be divorced very soon, because all love affairs end in disappointment. But marriage is a recognition of a spiritual identity (Joseph Campbell). Man has two great spiritual needs. One is for forgiveness. The other is for goodness (Billy Graham). I’m concentrating on staying healthy, having peace, being happy, remembering what is important, taking in nature and animals, spending time reading, trying to understand the universe, where science and the spiritual meet (Joan Jett). Physical strength can never permanently withstand the impact of spiritual force (Franklin D. Roosevelt) .

PEERFECTION Advance, and never halt, for advancing is perfection. Advance and do not fear the thorns in the path, for they draw only corrupt blood (Khalil Gibran) . Perfection is the child of time  (Joseph Hall). Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence (Colin Powell). God who is eternally complete, who directs the stars, who is the master of fates, who elevates man from his lowliness to Himself, who speaks from the cosmos to every single human soul, is the most brilliant manifestation of the goal of perfection (Alfred Adler). This is the very perfection of a man, to find out his own imperfections (Saint Augustine). To feel much for others and little for ourselves; to restrain our selfishness and exercise our benevolent affections, constitute the perfection of human nature (Adam Smith).

FAITH Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase (Martin Luther King, Jr. ). Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof (Khalil Gibran). Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into the light (Helen Keller).

LOVE Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies (Aristotle).
Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable (Bruce Lee). Where there is love there is life (Mahatma Gandhi). Love is life. And if you miss love, you miss life (Leo Buscaglia). Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love (Mother Teresa). Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible – it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment, and offer you more joy than any material possession could (Barbara de Angelis). Love is our true destiny. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone – we find it with another (Thomas Merton).

COMMANDMENTS All the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, you shall not kill, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, and so on, are summed up in this single command: You must love your neighbour as yourself (Jesus Christ).The Ten Commandments are the most visible symbol because these commandments are recognized by Christians and Jews alike as being the foundation of our system of public morality (Pat Robertson).
BLISS Health is the vital principle of bliss, and exercise, of health (James Thomson).

VIRTUE Just as treasures are uncovered from the earth, so virtue appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the maze of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of virtue (Buddha). Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage (Maya Angelou).

CONFESSION Prayer is a confession of one’s own unworthiness and weakness (Mahatma Gandhi). The confession of evil works is the first beginning of good works (Saint Augustine). A confession has to be part of your new life(Ludwig Wittgenstein). Acting is a form of confession (Tallulah Bankhead).

LENT «Lent is a time to renew wherever we are in that process that I call the divine therapy. It’s a time to look what our instinctual needs are, look at what the dynamics of our unconscious are». (Thomas Keating).

CONTEMPLATION  Contemplation and wisdom are highest achievements and man is not totally at home with them (Gabriel Marcel).

HUMBLENESS «Selflessness is humility. … humility and freedom go hand in hand. Only a humble person can be free.» (Jeff Wilson).

На цій основі через визначення вторинної номінації (А. Левицький), ми об’єднуємо лексичні одиниці в семантичні поля.

SPIRITUAL:  a spiritual life, spiritual control, spiritual relationship, the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude, spiritual beings, spiritual grace, a spiritual identity,  spiritual needs,  spiritual meet, spiritual force.

PEERFECTION: advancing, child of time, success, God, to find out his own imperfections,  to feel much for others.

FAITH: the first step, a knowledge within the heart, strength.

LOVE: a single soul, a friendship, life, smile, a force, true destiny.

COMMANDMENTS: You must love your neighbour as yourself, the foundation of our system of public morality.

BLISS: health.

VIRTUE: good deeds, courage.

CONFESSION:prayer, the first beginning of good works,  part of your new life, acting.

LENT: a time to renew.

CONTEMPLATION:  highest achievements.

HUMBLENESS (HUMBLE): be free.

Таким чином, наші концепти «володіють семантичною цінністю» [8].

У створенні когнітивної моделі відбуваються процеси «інтеграції та інтерпретації» [8]. Інтеграція включає конструкцію «HUMAN PERSON», яка передається «лінгвістичними знаннями (лексичними концептами)» [8]: SPIRITUAL,  PEERFECTION, FAITH, LOVE, COMMANDMENTS, BLISS, VIRTUE, CONFESSION, LENT, CONTEMPLATION, HUMBLENESS, які потім інтерпретуються. Концепт «HUMAN PERSON» отримує  інформаційну характеристику, в якій будучи пов’язаним із кожним лексичним концептом, він інтерпретується.

Це «ментальна модель» [3].  побудови мовної особистості, що включає внутрішні уявлення, способи їх побудови (фрейми). Вона розвиває вміння орієнтуватися в світі, а концепти «сприяють ототожненню і розрізненню різних об’єктів» [3, с.13].

Така когнітивна модель робить внесок у «конструкцію значення» [8], тобто спосіб формування себе у цьому світі, сприяє доступу до інших когнітивних моделей.

Перспективним у майбутньому є вивчення «константів культури, тб. таких концептів, які з’явилися в глибокій давнині…» [3, с.16] і мають відношення до нашої когнітивної моделі.
